Acoustic Plaster

Acoustic plaster is a great addition to your space, and we can offer you a range of innovative solutions to make sure that the sounds are balanced and the part looks good too, with colour matching service available for most paint libraries.

Choose the finish and texture that’s right for the space, and if pulling it together with the rest of your design, we’ll ensure it’s cohesive and will create a sample board to sign off on ahead of your installation.

You can see examples of these products along with our other decorative coatings by visiting the showroom at the Sky House Design Centre in Amersham.

Acoustic Plaster Ceilings

You might be looking for a seamless ceiling solution but don’t want the same spray finishes or limited colour charts; this range of coatings has been specifically developed to reduce sound.

Have all the whole ceilings or sections of a dropped or coffered ceiling detail coated; we will work and adapt to the space.

If you need a wall or ceiling product but don’t require the acoustic properties, take a look at our polished plaster guide

Acoustic Panels or Accents

Want to have some areas installed but mainly as a feature wall or detail?

Acoustic plaster details: Consider areas above cupboards, at the back of open shelving or bookcases.

These plasters can add depth and texture to a space, and when this is also lit up in the right way, it can really come to life.

In large spaces where sound has the chance to travel and reverberate, you might want to consider panelled sections or mixed media walls.

Acoustic Plaster On Walls

Acoustic plaster used on feature walls or whole rooms: Design your space to feature one of our acoustic solutions or by partnering with our neighbours, IndigoZest.

Draw on their expertise in the home cinema world and home automation to bring in smart solutions that add an extra element to your space design.

Acoustic plasters and our other decorative coatings can be used throughout the home and we can provide a solution for every surface.

When planning your wall design, please mention your interest in the acoustic plaster properties.

Wall surfaces where you can use the acoustic plaster finish can be made out of the most common construction methods used here in the UK; if unsure, please refer back to us via email at hello@signature-walls.co.uk

Acoustic Plaster On Pillars or Columns

Can you install acoustic plaster onto pillars or columns?

Whilst the acoustic properties might be negligible when coating a solid metal pillar, we would be able to install a finish to this or just about any interior surface.

We’ll work alongside any designer, creative, or consultant to provide a cohesive solution and continuity to any space.

The products we supply and install can be used on most surfaces, provided they’re solid, sound, and in usable condition.

Consider the thickness of using these and how they compare to some of our other finishing options.

If in doubt, then please reach out and speak to one of our design consultants.

Acoustic Plaster Alongside Other Materials

Considering that we have 100+ finishes on display in our decorative finishing showroom, your options for home personalisation extend beyond this range.

You have options using materials such as:

  • Decorative paint finishes for walls, ceilings and accent panels
  • Microcement for bathrooms, floors and walls
  • Venetian plaster for walls, media units
  • Wallpaper for walls, joinery and ceilings
If you’d like to chat about how best to use these alongside the current or planned theme, the best thing to do would be to visit our showroom, bring along any samples of furnishings or other design details that you’re using in the space.
